On Sunday evening, the latest issue of Soup Can Magazine hit the shelves at The Union Market and Gallery in the Tuckerton Seaport, accompanied by an art show adorning their walls, live music and poetry, and, on this occasion, marked by a coat and clothing drive.
Artists on hand were Brad Terhune, Zee C, Toni Eismann, Joe Galuppo, Jesse Tomasello, Jason Moss, and in his first art show ever, Joshua Pesciotta.
Thanks to outstanding performances by Andrew Hreha, Joe Galuppo, Onyx & Honey, and an iconic Spoken Word set by Kenny KP Walker, the night was filled with music and poetry of the highest caliber. We're grateful for every donation we collected, so many that we had to bring them to TWO separate drop off points. All the coats, clothing, blankets, and shoes will be distributed to those in need throughout Ocean County.
A special thank you to everyone who attended and rocked the open mic. Please keep an eye out for the rest of our Winter Pop-Up Tour, which will feature small businesses throughout the state opening their doors to showcase poetry, music, and local culture.
